My stay at Istanbul The Trip Old City was a total disappointment. Honestly, I felt scammed with the amount I paid for such a filthy place. I was put in a basement room filled with dampness, and it ruined my first-time experience in Turkey. I left immediately and found a much nicer hotel nearby.

My stay at Istanbul The Trip Old City was super disappointing. The place was filthy and felt damp, which was really awful, especially for my first trip to Turkey. I had to leave because I couldn’t stand it anymore, but the management refused to give me a refund. The only good thing was finding a better hotel nearby, the Ottoman Park Hotel, which I highly recommend instead.
